winmonaye I also can't find place to edit "Reservation has been confirmed" page.

I am sure people wants to add more than just "confirmed".

Thanks
monaye Thanks for quick reply,

I tried it and I am getting same effect, i can't see "number of people" selection.

You can see it here:

mfabrizio Please try this

http://owlwatch.com/tbtest/index.html

and let me know....
mfabrizio It may be the Plus/Minus field for selecting the table size.

I am going to send you a link to a private demo area that I have setup that uses dropdowns for selection of Table Size and Date in the Wizard to see if it works any better for you. Try to embed this instead of our standard demo.

You will also be able to access the Administrator to customize it a bit more...

We can take it from there.

Thanks for your interest in TableBoss.
monaye First of all, GREAT TOLL and Simple Usage.

I am thinking of providing this tool as one of the feature to our client. But the problem is, Most of the restaurant doesn't use Joomla becuase they don't have a lot of content and Joomla simply has too many feature for just static page.

I saw you're advise on:

http://tableboss.com/component/option,com_fireboard/Itemid,51/func,view/id,17/catid,15/lang,en/

From my understanding, if i use iframe, i can call reservation component:

http://demo.tableboss.com/index2.php?option=com_tableboss&Itemid=45

from any where, right?

So I tried to use with thickbox and here is the my test page:

http://demo.windesignworld.com/balloonangels/reservation.html

But as you can see, it's not working correctly.

Do you have any idea why?
fabrizim Hi Chris-

This is possible. You could install Joomla in a subdirectory of you site and try 2 options.

1. Create an iframe on your non-Joomla site, like you said, and just include the public tableboss page that way. There was an example of how to do this with our demo pages posted on the forum.

2. Make sure that the joomla installation is on the same domain. For example, if your domain is http://www.your-restaurant.com, the joomla installation could be at http://www.your-restaurant.com/reservations/. Then, create the necessary menu links on the joomla installation. Visit the reservation wizard page and copy the code that is output. Paste it to the desired page in your site. Make sure you also copy the scripts/css that are included by tableboss.

Option 2 will work better because it does not rely on an iframe, and thus the Reservation Wizard div will size correctly. Also, the size of the box is dynamic depending on the step, so as you go through the wizard, the containing box will resize along with it, unlike within an iframe where you would either have to set the height to be larger initially, or deal with scrollbars on the page.

Let me know if this explanation helps.

Best Regards-

Mark
