Multiple rooms, on sub domains? 7 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi guys...

I'm working on a "workaround" for multiple rooms and I want to run it by you, too see if it's viable (license wise).

The client has more then one dining room. I could adopt a naming convention and load all tables into the DB, but that has two major probs: occupancies and table assignment.

I suggest building two identical websites with one of them "jigged". The second site would be a duplicate of the first and installed on a subdomain of the primary domain.

On the first site I would have a link to dining room 1 and dining room 2 (for the administrator) and likewise for the on-line reservations for each room.

This is working for me in case anyone else needs a temporary solution...

Here is what I did:
I created a subdomain in the same domain as the original site
I backed up the original and restored it on the subdomain
Then I re-created the new room in tableboss
I then chose a plain template and hacked all the "extra" elements out of it.
On the original site I created a WRAPPER and pointed toward the new room.

and

It works well...
