TableBoss - Joomla Extension for Online Restaurant Reservations

Hi,

I have just installed TableBoss, but nothing works..- it looks like it conflicts with JoomFish.
We have several components on the site, and TableBoss MUST work together with JoomFish.
If i test Tableboss on another Joomla installation, without Joomfish, it all works as expected.

What to do now?

Hi Boris-

The latest revision (2.1.2) should be compatible with the latest Joomfish (1.8.2). It may work with older versions, though we have not tested them.

We just added Joomfish compatibility, so ensure you have the latest TableBoss version by uninstalling your current version of TableBoss, downloading the latest from the site, and installing via the Joomla Administrator.

I have now updated both JoomFish and TableBoss.... -and i works partly.
I'm not able to change languages, only english is available.

But else it all works as expected.
And one more thing, we use 8-digit phone numbers i Denmark not seven or ten digit numbers.

For your information: I'm not able to edit the translation file in FireFox (on a Mac) only Safari can open the languages files.

Hi Boris-

Different langauges should work as expected on the frontend. However, the administrator works a bit differently at the moment. It was built with Joomla 1.5 concepts in mind, so in order to change the language in the administrator (to translate), you must change your locale in the Global Configuration (ie. fr_FR for french, da_DK for danish, etc).

I will test the loading problem in FF on a Mac - I was not aware that this was a problem.

Also, I am considering changing the option for "Allow seven digit phone numbers" to a text field that will allow for custom regular expressions. That way, you can account for eight digit phone numbers, etc. I will try and get to that today or tomorrow and I'll post here when I have an update.

Hi Mark,

Languages are controlled by JoomFish language selection only, and it have no effect on TableBoss at all. Every module and component change languages when i use "JoomFish language selection" except TableBoss. I don't care about the administration part (access for the reataurant is'nt needed.

I will take a look at your site to see the issue. Please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with your site's info. It may be a problem with the iso definition in your language configuration for JoomFish.
