Global Settings

Notification From Email:
Enter the e-mail address that will appear on e-mails generated from TableBoss. Many servers reject e-mail with invalid e-mail addresses, so notifications will have have a better chance of receiving the intended recipient if this is a valid e-mail address.

Notification From Name:
Enter the 'From' e-mail Name that will be sent on the Notification e-mail.

Customer Notifications

Confirmation E-Mail

Send Confirmation E-Mail:
TableBoss can optionally send a reservation confirmation email upon successful completion of the Reservation Wizard. It is sent to the email address provided by the customer. Check this box to send email, uncheck it to turn this feature off.

Customer Notification Subject:
Enter the Subject that will be on the confirmation e-mail.

Customer Notification Body:
Enter the Body that will be in the confirmation e-mail.

You can use the following variables in the body;

  • {name} - Customer name entered in the reservation wizard
  • {info} - Confirmed Reservation Details
  • {restaurant} - Restaurant name from the Restaurant tab
  • {cancel} - Cancellation link
Below is an example of the customer confirmation e-mail notification sent after an on line reservation has been made.

Cancelation E-Mail

Cancellation Subject:
Enter the Subject that will be on the cancellation e-mail.

Cancellation Body:
Enter the Body that will be in the cancellation e-mail.

You can use the following variables in the body;

  • {name} - Customer name entered in the reservation wizard
  • {info} - Confirmed Reservation Details
  • {restaurant} - Restaurant name from the Restaurant tab
  • {cancel} - Cancellation link

Internal Notifications

Confirmation E-Mail

Notification Email:
TableBoss sends a notification email upon successful completion of the Reservation Wizard. It is sent to the email address provided in this field.

Notification CC:
Optionally the notification can be copied by entering an email address in this field.

Attach Report to Notification:
If set to yes, all future reservations and cancellations are sent to the Notification Email and CC recipients in XLS format. If set to no, a report will not be attached. (This was suggested as a way for the restaurant to continually have a copy of all future reservations in the event that their internet connection becomes unstable.)

Reports can also be obtained on demand from the Reports tab of the Reservation Desk, based on the users access level. See Display tab for documentation on configuring access.
