Manage Tables
When TableBoss is first installed, there are no tables defined. You will need to layout the tables in your restaurant.

Adding Tables
To add a new table the room select thebutton, or double click in the room approximately where you would like to create a table.
That will bring up the following "Add Table" dialog.
Specify a name for the table. You'll receive an alert if you attempt to use an existing table name
Specify the number of seats at the table from the drop down. (1*, 2, 4, 6, 8 10)
Select the image that most closely resembles the table shape and seating configuration from the Table image drop down.
* If all tables are 'One Seat', the Reservation Wizard will automatically adapt and not present "Select Party Size" step. Some have found this useful to adapt TableBoss for other non-restaurant applications. Tennis Courts, Soccer Fields, etc., etc.

Hit the 'Save' buttonMoving Tables
You will see the table appear in the room. It will appear by default in the upper left corner of the room. Place your cursor on the table untill you see the drag and drop symbol. Simply hold the left mouse button down, then drag and drop it to the desired floor location of the room.
Continue to Add and Move Tables until you have completed your restaurant table layout.![]()
Room Size
You can alter the size and aspect ratio of your room by using these controls. The units are in pixels. Simply change the Width and Height, then select Apply.
When changing the room size, dimensions are added or subtract from left to right and top to bottom. If tables exist outside the bounds of a smaller shape, the tables will not be lost. They will be automatically relocated within in the room bounds. You may need to relocate them using drag and drop.
Scroll bars will appear on the right and bottom edges of the window as required to allow you to access the entire room.
Table Modification
Tables can be modified easily. Simply double click on a table, or click theicon that appears above any table when you pass your cursor over a table as shown below.
Doing so will yield the Edit Table dialog shown below. Simply Modify any of the parameters and select the "Save" button.![]()
Delete Tables
Delete a table using the 'delete icon'. You will receive a confirmation alert before a table is deleted.
